Spy Clues
Two spymasters, one-word clues — find your agents
Spy Clues is a two-team battle of clever clues and careful guessing. Each team's Spymaster secretly sees which words on the grid belong to their agents, then gives a single one-word clue plus a number to point their operatives at multiple words at once. The operatives talk it out, vote, and confirm their picks.
The catch is the grid is shared and dangerous: guess a neutral word and your turn ends, guess the other team's agent and you help them, and tap the lone assassin and you lose instantly. Finding all your agents first wins. With co-op voting and an optional bonus guess each turn, it's a tense balance of trusting your spymaster and not pushing your luck.
How to play Spy Clues
- 1Two teams; each picks a Spymaster who sees the secret key
- 2Spymaster gives a one-word clue + number; operatives vote on words and confirm
- 3Find all your agents to win — but never tap the assassin 🔪
Tips & strategy
- Spymasters: a clue connecting two safe words beats a risky one that touches the assassin.
- Operatives: lock in the words you're sure of first, then decide whether the bonus guess is worth it.
- When in doubt, end your turn — a wrong guess can hand the game to the other team.
Best for
Two-team groups who love word association and tense deduction.
